Denver Carpet Cleaning Methods
Steam Carpet Cleaning
is
the most common carpet cleaning method. For the best deep
carpet cleaning results, steam carpet cleaning is the only way to
go. To protect your carpet investment, professionals recommend
carpet cleanings twice a year or every six
months. "Steam Carpet Cleaning" technically means "hot
water extraction". Hot water with a cleaning solution is extracted by
means of a wand or a rotovac carpet cleaning system. The carpet is
cleaned one section at a time with continuous overlapping carpet
cleaning passes. The hot water is extracted by means of the suction
power created by the carpet cleaning truck mounted system or via
the portable carpet cleaning system The wand is the interface
for vacuuming all water and dirt out of the carpet . Some wands have
clear plastic hoses that show the dirty water being
extracted. This shows the customer that the carpet is really being
deep cleaned. The carpet should be
vacuumed prior to your carpet cleaning to pick up loose, surface
level dirt. The carpet takes 4-12 hours to dry after a steam carpet cleaning.
As the carpet dries after
the steam carpet cleaning, the carpet nap rises and the result is a
very clean, refreshed, "brand new" looking carpet. The major
technological advances made in
the water extraction method over the past few years have made hot
water extraction one of
the best methods of carpet cleaning. One of the very best
improvements is the suction strength, which drastically reduces the
amount of time it takes for your carpets to dry.
The Steam Carpet Cleaning Process has proven to be
the safest cleaning method, the most economical carpet cleaning
method, and offers the best results hands down. Mile High
Carpet Cleaning offers the Steam Carpet Cleaning for Denver CO metro
residents...

Chemical Dry
Methods: This is the big controversy! Many people in our industry
have the false perception that cleaning carpets using the
dry carpet cleaning method is the best thing since mom and apple
pie. Save your money! The dry system is not effective for deep
cleaning. It is actually a three- part
procedure. First you sprinkle the powder solvent on the carpet.
Let the powder sit for 15 minutes, according to the directions.
Using a special buffer with two
rotating heads, spread the cleaning
powder around and into the carpet. Your final step is vacuum, vacuum, vacuum.
As you vacuum, the powder and the dirt collect and are removed (or so the theory says). The
benefits of this method are the low-cost, and no dry time.
Since this is not a method of deep cleaning, eventually the carpets
require hot water extraction. Further, some of the powder may
be left behind, attracting more dirt.
Not recommended by any company, so SAVE YOUR MONEY!
